The rent never passes through Mietto.
Your tenant pays you the way they do now: bank transfer, standing order or cash. Mietto doesn't hold the money, move it or connect to anyone's bank account. It keeps the proof you can both point to.
Questions before you start
Does my tenant need an account?
Not to start. Add them as an offline tenant and log their payments yourself. When they're ready, invite them by email: the history you kept is there the moment they accept.
What does Mietto cost?
Nothing during the beta, and signing up doesn't ask for a credit card.
What counts as a receipt?
A PDF, JPG or PNG of up to 5 MB that shows the payment: the bank's confirmation, a screenshot of the transfer, or a photo of a cash receipt.
Which languages can I use?
English, German and Greek. Each person picks their own, and every email goes out in the recipient's language, not the sender's.
What happens when a lease ends?
Nothing is lost. The lease moves into the history on both sides, with every payment and receipt still in it.
